A Bit About Us

Both of us are sleeves rolled up action taking women. We are kind, nurturing and strong. We both trained as lawyers (this helps in getting to the root of any business problem and it helps us offer creative ways to get our clients out of problems) and means we have stamina – all those years working long hours pays off. We both are very tech minded and geeky, not afraid to talk about the unpalatable and take work seriously, but not ourselves.

Who We Work With

We work with action taking business owners who are about to start or already running service based businesses. We have helped thousands of busy business owners across the years, whether it’s sorting out a problem, seeing things from another perspective or revolutionizing how services are offered online to make things easier for the end user, we have done it all.

More recently, we have worked with board level executives who need help in specific areas of leadership to make their mark on the world. These are people who have small teams of under 20 people but the business is packing a punch with PLC ambitions and big earning goals. We also work with businesses with smaller goals who want some help in getting clear on what will work for them and their business.

Practical and Experienced

Our own experience of working on boards, interacting at senior level and leading teams helps us to help you achieve the best version of you in the business. Whether that is earning £20K per year or much more. It’s about your goals and ambitions We are great listeners with a wealth of business experience to help you.  Showing up as a business leader (even when it’s just you and your own business) and remaining in touch with your own core essence and ethics is hard for many of us and we show you how it can be done and help you through your challenges. 1:1 work starts from an initial call to make sure we are right for each other and we take it from there – there is no point in us working together on something as important as your career or business if we don’t hit it off! We take on very little 1-2-1 work each year as most of our time is dedicated to our programmes and Academy. We are booked until 2023 on 1-2-1 work.

Proven Track Record

We have grown businesses on and off line to 7 figures and grown teams from 3-200 people. We have swooped into wounded businesses and turned them around very quickly, we have supported business owners and executives to grow something they are proud of.  We understand the pains, challenges and cash flow needs and most of all the importance of vision, planning and execution. If you need help in taking consistent action to become more productive and profitable we are able to help.

Mentorship and Consulting Work

This all means when we look in depth at your business, we can hone in very quickly on the things you need to do to make the changes you need and want. This might be clearer thinking and planning, business growth tactics, making a service into an online product, growing a better performing team or getting funding. Why we Started The Actionistas

In late 2016 we decided it was time to put things in order, start a movement, get helping thousands of  service business owners who might need a bit of help to get things moving.  People like us who are absolutely ready to crack on with their businesses once they have got things in motion but might need a little help to get on track. People like you who understand there is a ceiling on what they can earn in a service business and want to offer products like online training and workshops too.

The Actionistas Mindset

Actionistas are get up, dust off and try again people. Wherever in the world you are, The Actionistas site is written for the brave business owner who is prepared to take on board what they need to do to build a business. Over the coming months we will be adding eBooks, online courses, Actionista boot camps where we focus on one element of business action and more. We also will be filling the site to the rafters with free snippets of business information and help both here, on the blog and on social media. We will be putting up links to our favourite sites and people who we think have the Actionista attitude. It’s a good thing and carries you through all sorts of health, family, work and business challenges and we love it.

All our eLearning, bootcamps and short programmes are affordable, ranging from £99 to £999 ex VAT with options to pay by instalments. We also have a membership programme which is £49  per month. Talking about Money

We have started businesses with no external investment and jumped off in 1995 with our Our Start It, Grow It, Scale It approach. This was born from us (that’s Sue and Antonia) creating from nothing but hope and hard work, a business that grew to £687K turnover in under 10 months (1995), another business started in 2000 which turned over £200k in its first year, another business (commenced 2010) which brought in £10K per month by month 3 from a standing start up and grown many others for clients who wanted to turnover £1K – £15K per month in the first 12 months of starting up. These figures are not used to brag or even be an indicator of what you should be aiming for, higher or lower, we want to help. It’s all about us helping you take the easier road to earning that was so hard for us to find in the early years of our business journey.
