Normally when we ask this question we get answers about brand values, and colour meanings and discussions about the big brands. For smaller businesses (and large ones too) its about what people feel and say about your brand once they know it. Your loyal tribe of followers and customers who love your brand, love what it does and spread the word for you. The ones that remember you do this or that and recommend you without reservation. That is what a brand says about you. SO what is yours doing for you right now?

If i’ts stood with its back against the wall doing diddly, then its time to kick start the action and refresh it. Work out what its doing for you and how it identifies with your values and business right now and what your customers think it does (ask them using surveys and social media) and kick things into action. How you do anything is how you do everything so make sure your brand is doing its job and helping you reach the people you want to.
